A Real Dream Come True…
Off the Rack was opened in 2010 as an answer to the requests and demand for a genuine bridal shoppe where soon-to-be and previous brides alike could turn to buy and sell gowns and accessories.
In addition, keeping a green concept and helping to reduce our carbon footprint was of utmost importance. Our answer was to offer previously owned gowns, and new gowns from “off the rack”. We also purchased only repurposed and recycled furniture and equipment for the shop. From top to bottom we have given new life to the idea of being a socially responsible Bridal Shoppe.
In our continuing effort to meet the needs of our brides in the very near future we will be offering incentives through other local businesses, photographers, and caterers. See more about our services and current events we are attending above.
Working primarily by appointment we establish our interactions in an intimate setting to make our brides feel at ease in selecting their gowns and we take pride in knowing we have helped create a dream come true. Off the Rack is a genuine atmosphere where brides can come relax and approach their dreams in a real way.
Please remember we are a bridal boutique with limited space. Appointments are strongly suggested so that you and your special friends/family can receive intimate customer service during your consult.

Daytime outdoor events take advantage of natural light. For a night time event, use organic candles for table lights. Green transportation to the church, have attendants and guest carpool or use a horse drawn carriage! Use the same venue for the ceremony and reception to avoid traveling and reduce carbon emissions. Local parks, recreation areas, community centers, and clubhouses are a great alternative for hotel receptions. Website can be great communication tools. Consider E-mailing invitations! Use recycled paper or organic products like cotton, hemp, or bamboo for traditional paper invitations’. Wondered what gown silhouette might accent your best attributes and conceal your areas of opportunity? Never fear Off the Rack Bridal Shoppe is here! Empire Waist: The skirt extends from the bust line rather than the waistline. Keywords: Grecian, flowing, forgiving, romantic. This silhouette is perfect for pear shaped brides as it conceals the wider lower half of the body. Also good for smaller busts and shorter brides as it creates a false waistline. Over the years as an owner operator of a bridal boutique, I have come to understand that the question of whether the venue or the gown comes first is much the same as whether the chicken or the egg comes first. Each spring forth a river of secondary decision that ripples outward until reaching the shore. The question regarding time of day and location is routinely asked when scheduling consults in our boutique. Approximately half of the blushing brides have a clear picture of the venue and will seek out the gown and accessories to fit.
